Dear Friend,
Re: Free Lilith Project and Women & Girl’s Network Accredited Training Course May to September 2005
As part of the Lilith Project’s commitment to raising awareness of violence against women amongst statutory and voluntary sector organisations in London, we are pleased to provide you with details of our free accredited training course which will start at the London Voluntary Resource Centre in May.
We have joined forces with the ‘Women & Girls’ Network’ to provide a fifteen day course, spread over three months to enable female workers who deal with female survivors to explore a variety of world healing models and develop an informed, holistic approach to their work. In return for providing the course free of charge we expect total commitment and 100% attendance. This will mean being absent from the workplace for two days a week per fortnight with the final assessment taking place for two days in mid-September.
To provide further information on the course content of the training programme, Lilith and Women & Girl’s Network will be hosting an Open Day on Monday 28th February 2005 at the LVSC Resource Centre, Holloway Road, between 1:30pm- 5:30pm. We intend to have reading materials on display, some of the course facilitators present to answer questions as well as past students to provide direct feedback on the impact of the course. Please let me know if you intend to come along to the Open Day.

In addition, the Lilith Project will be holding a conference on sexual violence on 22nd April 2005 at the LVSC Resource Centre, so please put this date in your diary and if you are interested in attending, please contact me via the details listed below.
